Customer Questions & Answers
QI ordered a WD 2TB SSD to add and match the 500GB SSD the Chronos Mini came with. Will I be able to just mount it and plug it up and the system will detect it and format it and get it ready to use? Or is there more I need to be aware of before installing it? Thanks, RyanAsked on November 4, 2021 10:45 amAnswer Hello Ryan, if you are swapping out the SSD you will want to reinstall Windows on it. If you are simply adding it for more storage then you should be fine simply connecting the SSD as Windows will detect it automatically. I am a software designer and Mod Developer…its perfect for what I need, I can run one development session with a separate render session and it’s smooth and responsive.
I can honestly say that this has to be the best purchase I have made when buying a pc. It’s fast, reliable, and an amazing product.

All you need to do is take out the stuff in the case and plug and play…the build of the computer, it wasn’t half-assed and made with care. It was cabled beautifully.
