      Hey Anthony,

Even though we pack our computers very securely, the shipping process is very brutal on the computers so I apologize for the damage to your GPU. Also about the Windows, unfortunately without talking to you directly regarding this issue I can’t say what the problem was but I’m glad you still had a great experience.

Thank you for the honest feedback!

Good specs for the PC. Had to send it back once it arrived because the fans were super loud. They are still a little bit louder than I would expect but it is tolerable once I put on my headphones. It does good when I play games. The only problems I’ve had while using it is the fan button not working.

I purchased the SkyTech Gaming Chronos PC, came in about less than a weeks time. The software was a bit screwed up, but with some minor fixed and calling Tech support, we were able to do anything we wanted to do on it! Definitely worth the price, I would consider it!

I ordered this in February of 2021 and was very pleased. The 3070 I got was a nice one (three fans!) and everything else was as advertised.

Unfortunately, I ran into some performance issues out of the box. Checked, and the BIOS version was still on 1.0. ASROCK had version 6 out already, so I put that on a flash drive and flashed the new BIOS version (very easy and quick process) and my issues were eliminated. Not sure if this slipped through quality control or if it’s standard from Skytech, but I would definitely recommend checking the BIOS for version information and to double check that the overclocked RAM profile is loaded.

Other than that, no issues, machine functions very well. I’m running a 2k 144hz ultrawide gaming monitor as the display and the PC runs it effortlessly!

The price has gone up since I purchased, I would assume to reflect market price of the video cards. The price-point I paid was definitely worth it, but as the price rises that will be a personal decision for potential customers.

I purchased one of these in mid November 2020. It was time for an upgrade as my old PC was going on 8 years. I was planning to finally build my own, but with the lack of availability on many of the components, I decided the only way I was going to get what I wanted within a reasonable time frame was to go with a pre-built. After doing some research and seeing what was out there, I landed on Skytech’s website. After looking through their product offerings and comparing them, I decided to pull the trigger and go with the Chronos and the RTX3070 build.

What a difference a few years makes in the PC world. I went from a small mini-ITX from Alienware with a GTX1060 and a bunch of no-name components to this mid-range beast. The packing was superb and it arrived quickly. The only immediate issue I had was that one of the 4 screws that holds the glass side panel on was cross-threaded from the factory, and while it screws in securely, it does not quite sit flush with the panel. Minor cosmetic detail easily overlooked because you don’t notice it. It took about 30 minutes to get it unpacked and hooked up. It looks clean, the component selection is fantastic, and everything works.

The only issues I have had to date are: the RGB lighting does not always function when using the custom settings through the Armoury Crate software. This may be a connection issue inside, but I have not fully investigated it yet. The pre-set options work perfectly. The other issue is not a Skytech issue: I upgraded the CPU cooling system from the stock fan unit to an AIO liquid cooler to lower the CPU temps while gaming. The stock unit allows the temperatures to get a little to close to the AMD max temp. rec. for my comfort. Which brings me to another great point about this build and why buying from a company like Skytech kicks the pants off Dell, HP, etc. – the upgradeability of this unit is just as good as if you had built it from scratch yourself. There is plenty of space and mounting points for different fan configurations, additional fans, liquid cooling, more hard drives, another GPU, etc.

The price has gone up since I got mine, but that is due to the volatility in the component markets. I would still consider it a great deal even at $100s more than when I got it. If I buy another pre-built, I will definitely be looking at Skytech again.
