Coronavirus (COVID-19) Updates

Update 12/18/2020

Skytech Gaming is currently operating with only essential workers. Shipping carriers are also overloaded and only taking a limited quantity of our outgoing shipments, meaning we can only ship out a limited number of orders that have been completed and are awaiting shipment. Please expect to add an additional 7-10 business days to your estimated delivery date. Be aware that if your order has not yet shipped we cannot guarantee delivery by Christmas. We understand that this causes a significant inconvenience for you this holiday season, so we will be extending your warranty by an additional month as well as our return period from 30 days from purchase to 90 days from purchase. Thank you for your cooperation during this uncertain time.

How does it affect Skytech Gaming?

As many of us are taking steps to ensure the safety of our communities, Skytech Gaming is doing its part to keep our staff and customers safe while maintaining our high quality standards across our production line. As we continue to produce the computers millions of Americans rely on to work from home, we are adapting to meet the challenges presented by this unique and trying time. Due to a combination of demand by both COVID-19 and the holiday season, all carriers are experiencing unusually high volumes of packages. As a result of these challenges, your orders may be delayed up to an additional week or two as it may take additional time for them to be processed and shipped. This will also affect outgoing parts and returns.

Warranty & Returns

Orders invoiced from March 1, 2020 will have extended return periods until May 31, 2020. Customers with a system warranty expiring from March 1, 2020 to May 31, 2020 will have an updated warranty expiration date of May 31, 2020.

Worker Safety

To minimize the spread of COVID-19 Skytech Gaming has required all employees who work in a role that can be performed from home to do so beginning March 13, 2020 and ending until such a time the stay-at-home order from the State of California has been lifted and returning to work is deemed safe.

We are closely monitoring the health and wellness of all our staff and taking preventative measures to make sure that anyone experiencing or exhibiting symptoms are quarantined along with any other staff they have been in close contact with.

Essential office and production line staff that require their physical presence have been trained to practice social distancing and are provided with face masks as per the recommendation of the CDC. In addition to the previous social distancing & face mask precautions, production line/warehouse workers are wearing protective gloves to prevent contamination of shippable goods. We have also increased the cleaning regiment of all interactive surfaces used by our staff.
